Setup guides: use your AlgoIP static IP with your trading tools
Every proxy-enabled trading tool exposes the same four fields: Host, Port, Username and Password. That is all AlgoIP needs. Map your dedicated static IP onto those four values once and your tool routes every order out through your broker-whitelisted address.
Pick your tool below for a step-by-step guide with its own screens, or use the universal guide if your tool is not listed.
- MyAlgoMate: Configure a dedicated static IP / proxy in MyAlgoMate with your AlgoIP credentials. Map Host, Port 443, Username (api_key) and Password (api_secret), enable Static IP / Proxy, and test it.
- Stoxxo: Add your AlgoIP static IP proxy to Stoxxo by AlgoBaba. Open User Settings, set a Manual Proxy with Proxy IP, Port 443, User and Pwd, save, then verify the served IP with the Internet / API Response Time Check.
- StocksDeveloper: Add your AlgoIP static IP to StocksDeveloper under Settings, My Proxies (BYOIP). Add Proxy with Label, Host, Port 443, Username and Password, save, then Validate All. Use Port 443, not the 1080 SOCKS placeholder.
- Any proxy-enabled tool: The universal recipe for any trading tool or library that supports a proxy: Host, Port 443, Username (api_key) and Password (api_secret). Covers the hostname vs static IP choice, TLS-in-TLS, and a Python requests example.
